I enjoy building things. Recently in my spare time I've been tinkering with a few AR projects:

A phone showing an Augmented Reality direction to a place at a park.

Location FindAR

I noticed a pain point of finding where your friends are, even when they're nearby, and especially at crowded parks. To solve the problem, I envisioned, designed, and developed Location FindAR.

Location FindAR allows people to share an augmented reality guide to their location, all in the web, with minimal friction. I used React, Firebase, and AR.js (an open source web AR library which has an awesome community).

Try it out on iOS Safari or Android Chrome!

A phone with an AR donut showing 6ft distance around the user

Distance Donut

After seeing lots of crowding and a challenge of getting kids to practice social distancing, I built Distance Donut as a fun way to measure distance around you with an emphasis on simplicity. Learned Swift and ARKit in the process.

A Google Home Mini with a speech bubble saying "Complete the lyrics!"

Complete the lyrics!

Early in the smart-speaker adoption cycle I identified one of the most engaging use cases was trivia games. I built and launched the "Complete the lyrics!" game for Google Home as a twist on the genre, with references to the most popular songs.

"Complete the lyrics!" ended up being the second most used Google Assistant app of the 2017 Holiday Season, and received two Google Developer Community awards for user engagement throughout 2018.
